This Pre-Launch Privacy Notice explains how ViaCarat LLC (“ViaCarat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information while ViaCarat.com is operating as a pre-launch website and waitlist.

It is intentionally limited to the information and activities occurring before the marketplace opens. A broader marketplace privacy policy will replace this notice before ViaCarat enables live accounts, listings, purchases, seller payouts, verification workflows, or other transactional marketplace services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you join a buyer or seller waitlist, we may collect:

• your email address;
• whether you are interested in buying, selling, or another stated category;
• the form or page through which you signed up; and
• any information you voluntarily include in a message to ViaCarat.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect limited technical and usage information such as:

• IP address;
• device and browser information;
• approximate location derived from IP address;
• pages viewed and interactions with the Site;
• referral source or referring URL;
• date and time of access; and
• analytics, security, and diagnostic information.

We do not currently collect payment-card information, seller bank information, government identification, or marketplace transaction information through the pre-launch waitlist.

2. How We Use Information

We use waitlist information to:

• provide the launch notification or waitlist communication you requested;
• maintain and administer the waitlist;
• respond to requests you send us; and
• maintain records reasonably necessary to honor unsubscribe or deletion requests.

We use technical and analytics information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand the performance of the Site.

A pre-launch waitlist submission is not treated as consent to unrelated promotional email unless you separately opt in.

3. How We Share Information

We may share personal information with service providers that perform services for us, such as:

• website hosting;
• database/storage services;
• email delivery;
• analytics;
• security and fraud prevention; and
• technical support.

Those providers may process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a lawful government request; protect the rights, safety, or security of ViaCarat or others; investigate fraud or abuse; or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or other lawful corporate transaction.

4. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

ViaCarat does not sell pre-launch waitlist personal information for money.

ViaCarat does not currently use pre-launch waitlist information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated businesses.

If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide legally required choices before applying materially different practices to your information.

5. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Site or that help us understand Site performance.

We do not currently use these technologies to build advertising profiles for unrelated third-party advertising.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so can affect Site functionality.

6. Retention

We retain waitlist information for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the waitlist and provide the requested launch notification, unless you ask us to delete it or a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.

If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited suppression information so that we can honor your request.

Technical logs and analytics information are retained according to the settings and legitimate operational needs of ViaCarat and the service providers we use.

7. Your Choices and Requests

You may:

• unsubscribe from waitlist email using the unsubscribe link in an applicable email;
• ask us to delete your waitlist information;
• ask what waitlist information we have about you; or
• ask us to correct inaccurate information.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We will honor rights required by applicable law.

We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site and waitlist are intended for adults. ViaCarat does not knowingly collect personal information through the waitlist from children under 13, and marketplace participation will be limited to users age 18 or older.

10. U.S.-Focused Pre-Launch Site

ViaCarat is preparing for a U.S.-only marketplace launch. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States.

11. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice as the Site or our practices change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version.

Before live marketplace functionality is enabled, this notice should be replaced by ViaCarat’s full marketplace privacy policy.
